I've yet to test it on other games, but has anybody else run into something like this? That used to happen on other games when the hard drive takes a nap. I've heard the newer CIOS versions prevent the sleep mode by pinging the hard drive periodically, but that's never been 100% confirmed. Since it's SMG2, I'll give the following advice: Use DOP-Wii to update IOS 53, IOS 55, and most important, IOS 56. SMG uses IOS 56 and maybe if you have an older version installed.
